The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 338.62 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest will be 179.99 liras at 05.00, 06.00 and 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Friday showed a decrease of 15.53% to 145.61 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 293.81 liras and 297.74 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Friday was set as 345.40 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, and the lowest was 200 liras at 00.00, 03.00, 04.00 and 05.00 local time.
US$1 equals 5.99 Turkish liras on Friday at 1152 GMT.
