Danish energy company Vestas received a 200 megawatt wind turbine order in the U.S., the company announced on Friday.
Vestas will build 100 turbines with 2 megawatt capacity to fulfil the order, which will include supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year customised Active Output Management service agreement.
Delivery of the wind turbines is expected in the third quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
However, the company did not furnish any further details on the customer or the name of the project upon the customer's request.
