Türkiye's LPG production down 8.3% in December 2025

- LPG imports increase by 18.2%, while exports surge by 70.3% in December, latest industry report reveals

Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased by 8.3% to 77,675 tons in December 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

EMRA's latest LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports increased by 18.2% to 315,339 tons in December 2025, with the majority of imports from Algeria, Russia, the US, Kazakhstan and Georgia.

The country's LPG exports rose sharply by 70.3% year on year to 48,259 tons in December 2025.

The top destinations to which Türkiye exported LPG were Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Estonia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Greece, Singapore, Türkiye's Free Zones and Lebanon.

Total domestic LPG sales reached 321,793 tons in December 2025.
