Turkey's LPG production decreases by 12.8% in July

Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) total production decreased by 12.84 percent to 79.1 thousand tons in July compared to the same month last year, according to a report by Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority (EMRA) released on Monday.

Turkey's LPG imports decreased by 5.07 percent to 302.6 thousand tons in July, compared to the same month of 2016.

Imports to Turkey came from several different countries in June including Algeria, the U.S., Norway, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.

In addition, the country's LPG exports increased by 196 percent to 14.7 thousand tons in July. Among the countries that imported the highest LPG volumes from Turkey were Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Greece, Russia and Turkey's free trade zones, the report shows.

Total sales of LPG hit 388.6 thousand tons including 395 thousand tons of auto gas, 74 thousand tons of bottled LPG and 19.1 thousand tons of bulk LPG.
