Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 2.14% to 281 thousand tonnes in July compared to the same month of 2018, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog on Wednesday.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that imports to Turkey came from Algeria, the U.S., Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, the U.K., Libya and France.
Turkey's LPG production decreased in July to approximately 96 thousand tonnes - a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%.
Exports decreased by nearly 30.6% to 4.6 thousand tonnes this July compared to July 2018.
Total LPG sales fell by approximately 389 thousand tonnes in July -- a 0.88% decrease, including 312 thousand tonnes of autogas, 67 thousand tonnes of bottled LPG, and 10 thousand tonnes of bulk LPG.
