The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market decreased by 43.7% to 3.42 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 6.09 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 2,482 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to 1.37 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 152.78 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 8.87 Turkish liras at 1120 GMT on Thursday.
