The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 118.24% to around 24.16 million liras on Wednesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to about 11.07 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,200.73 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.98 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received around 285.24 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 34.63 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Thursday.
