The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 85.3% to around 19.13 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to about 10.32 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 13,632.07 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.43 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 134.594 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 39.76 liras at 2.10 p.m. local time (1110 GMT) on Thursday.
