The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 142.2% to 10.32 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 4.26 million liras.
On Wednesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas costs 10,939.52 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 944,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received 191.63 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 31.23 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Thursday.
