The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 72% to 4.29 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 2.49 million Turkish liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 9,652.85 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 445,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received 97.61 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 27.04 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
