The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 57.4% to 235.3 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to 149.5 million liras.
On Tuesday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 22,731.69 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 10.35 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 123.04 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 18.62 liras at 2.46 p.m. local time (1146 GMT) on Wednesday.
