The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 37.7% to 24.97 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 17.17 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,343.70 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.39 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 244.8 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 35.78 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
