The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 20.5% to 9.92 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to 8.23 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,477 liras, while the total trade volume of natural gas amounted to 6.72 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 216.58 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 5.95 Turkish liras on Wednesday at 1108 GMT.
