The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 35% to 22.7 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to 16.8 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 3,231 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to 7.02 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 136.30 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 8.96 Turkish liras at 1133 GMT on Monday.
