The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 41.5% to around 11.7 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday's amounted to about 8.3 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,700 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 798,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 147.1 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 42.05 liras at 2.07 p.m. local time (1107 GMT) on Monday.
