The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 779.6% to 56.82 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to 6.46 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 8,749.59 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 6.5 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 154.23 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 19.01 liras at 2.07 p.m. local time (1107 GMT) on Monday.
