The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 182.5% to around 5.14 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to about 1.82 million liras.
On Sunday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 13,806 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 376,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 67.15 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 39.28 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
