The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 78.9% to 8.48 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to 4.74 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 2,079 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 4.08 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 120.2 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 8.59 Turkish liras at 1129 GMT on Monday.
