The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 429.6% to around 12.65 million liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to about 2.38 million liras.
On Sunday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,140.79 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 895,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 262.8 million cubic meters on Sunday.
US$1 equals 43.48 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
