The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 513% to 99.50 million Turkish liras on Sunday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Monday.
Total trade on Saturday amounted to 16.23 million liras.
On Sunday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 13,748.80 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 7.23 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 138 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 18.81 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
