The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 661.5% to around 19.8 million liras on Saturday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Sunday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to about 2.6 million liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 17,190.61 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.15 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 100.09 million cubic meters on Saturday.
US$1 equals 46.55 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Sunday.
