The trade volume on Turkiye's spot natural gas market saw an increase of 90.5% to 112.68 million Turkish liras on Saturday, Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Sunday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to 59.13 million Turkish liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 10,083 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 11.17 million cubic meters.
Turkiye received 227.10 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Saturday.
US$1 equals 13.80 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Sunday.
