The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market increased by 47.3% to around 16.3 million Turkish liras on Monday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to about 11.1 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,455.96 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.13 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 231.09 million cubic meters on Monday.
US$1 equals 43.98 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Tuesday.
