The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 259.5% to 16.9 million Turkish liras on Monday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 4.7 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,361 liras, while the total natural gas trade volume amounted to 12.4 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 98.5 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Monday.
US$1 equals 6.93 Turkish liras at 1108 GMT on Tuesday.
