The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 1,848% to around 65.27 million Turkish liras on Monday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 3.35 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 15,459.54 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 4.22 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 312.24 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Monday.
US$1 equals 36.45 liras at 2.31 p.m. local time (1131 GMT) on Tuesday.
