The trade volume on Turkey's spot natural gas market saw an increase of 21.3% to 6.81 million Turkish liras on Monday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 5.61 million Turkish liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 6,327 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.78 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 203.13 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Monday.
US$1 equals 14.25 Turkish liras at 1105 GMT on Tuesday.
