The trade volume on Turkiye's spot natural gas market saw an increase of 185% to 59.13 million Turkish liras on Friday, Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 20.76 million Turkish liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 9,976 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 5.92 million cubic meters.
Turkiye received 219.64 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 13.87 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Saturday.
