The trade volume on Turkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 92.7% to 307.33 million Turkish liras on Friday, Turkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 159.49 million Turkish liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 10,086.40 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 30.5 million cubic meters.
Turkiye received 243 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 13.50 liras at 1106 GMT on Saturday.
