The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 158.5% to around 22.8 million liras on Friday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to about 8.82 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 11,967.69 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.9 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received around 261.56 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 34.74 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
