The trade volume on Turkey's spot natural gas market saw an increase of 67.7% to 12.84 million Turkish liras on Friday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to 7.66 million Turkish liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 6,919 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.86 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 215.99 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 13.27 Turkish liras at 1102 GMT on Saturday.
