Russian Novatek's natural gas sales volumes, including LNG, increased by 23.7% to total 18.74 billion cubic meters (bcm) in the second quarter of 2019 from the corresponding period of 2018, Novatek announced on Friday.
Natural gas volumes sold in Russia amounted to 15.11 bcm, whereas LNG volumes sold on international markets reached 3.63 bcm.
According to second quarter preliminary data, petroleum product sales volumes amassed 1.84 million tons, including 1.22 million tons of naphtha, 278 thousand tons of jet fuel and 342 thousand tons of fuel oil and gasoil.
Novatek sold 1.21 million tons of crude oil and 396 thousand tons of stable gas condensate over this period.
As at June 30, 2019, Novatek had 1.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, including LNG, and 629 thousand tons of stable gas condensate and petroleum products in storage or transit and designated as inventory.
In addition, the company's hydrocarbon production totaled 149 million million barrels of oil equivalent, including 18.91 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 3,035 thousand tons of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in an production increase in total hydrocarbons of 17.2 million barrels of oil equivalent, or 13.1% compared to the second quarter 2018.
