Gazprom and Kazakhstan signed an agreement to increase Russian natural gas supplies to the Central Asian country in 2025 and 2026, the Russian energy giant said Friday.

Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller met with Kazakh First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar in Russia's far eastern city of Vladivostok to discuss cooperation in the gas sector, the Russian company said in a statement.

On March 1, Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry announced that it was in talks with Gazprom regarding the supply of up to 10 billion cubic meters of Russian gas annually.
