Turkiye's liquefied petroleum gas imports down 21% in March

- LPG production increases year on year by 49.9% to 109,648 tonnes, according to Turkiye's energy watchdog

Turkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 21.08% to 203,437 tonnes in March compared to the same month of 2021, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkiye's imports originated from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan and Spain.

Turkiye's LPG production in March increased to 109,648 tonnes, marking a year-on-year rise of 49.9%.

Exports also rose to around 23,817 tonnes in March, showing a jump of 33.09% compared to the same month last year.

Total LPG sales in March decreased by 15.2% to around 272,841 tonnes, comprising 213,855 tonnes of autogas, 49,686 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 9,299 tonnes of bulk LPG.
