Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 34.8% to 180,915 tonnes in May 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from Algeria, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, the US, Croatia and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Turkey's LPG production in May decreased to 67,169 tonnes - marking a year-on-year drop of 33.9%.
Exports also declined by 93.9% to 438 tonnes in May compared to May last year.
Total LPG sales in May decreased to around 252,933 tonnes recording a 25.6% drop, including 186,081 tonnes of autogas, 61,932 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 4,919 tonnes of bulk LPG.
