Turkey's LPG imports down 28.2 % in April 2020

- LPG production decreases to 61,922 tonnes with a year-on-year drop of 26.4%, according to Turkey's energy watchdog

Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 28.2% to 181,854 tonnes in April 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from Algeria, the US, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia and Angola.

Turkey's LPG production in April decreased to 61,922 tonnes - a year-on-year drop of 26.4%.

Exports also declined by 20% to 14,403 tonnes in April compared to April last year.

Total LPG sales in April decreased to around 238,823 tonnes recording a 27.6% drop, including 167,224 tonnes of autogas, 66,449 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 5,149 tonnes of bulk LPG.
