Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 16.31% to 207,826 tonnes in March 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the US, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, Nigeria, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Turkey's LPG production increased in March 2020 to 95,058 tonnes - a year-on-year growth of 14.65%.
Exports increased by 67.02% to 18,005 tonnes in March 2020 compared to March 2019.
Total LPG sales decreased to around 282,107 tonnes in March 2020 with a 11.7% drop, including 223,895 tonnes of autogas, 50,912 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 7,299 tonnes of bulk LPG.
