Turkey's LPG imports down 1.3% in September 2020

- LPG production decreases to 92,770 tonnes with a year-on-year drop of 6.8%, according to Turkey's energy watchdog

Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 1.3% to 271,771 tonnes in September 2020 compared to the same month of 2019, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the US, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Greece, Norway, Egypt, Switzerland, Singapore, Croatia and Albania.

Turkey's LPG production in September decreased to 92,770 tonnes - marking a year-on-year drop of 6.8%.

Exports increased to 4,885 tonnes in September from 42 tonnes in September 2019.

Total LPG sales in September decreased by 4.5% to around 355,769 tonnes, including 286,318 tonnes of autogas, 62,629 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 6,821 tonnes of bulk LPG.
