Ukraine's natural gas consumption in 2018 increased by 0.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) to 32.3 bcm compared to the previous year, Naftogaz announced on Monday.
In 2018, household consumption amounted to 10.6 bcm, 0.6 bcm less than in 2017.
Household heating consumption amounted to 4.8 bcm, a rise of 0.2 bcm on 2017.
The company noted that industrial gas consumption also increased by 0.2 bcm to 9.3 bcm in 2018.
Naftogaz also stated that its operational data showed that in 2018 Ukraine produced 21 bcm of gas, a 2 percent rise compared to 20.5 bcm in 2017.
