Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 9.03% to 248 thousand tonnes in March 2019 compared to the same month of 2018, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog on Monday.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that imports to Turkey came from the U.S., Algeria, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, the U.K. and Libya.
Turkey's LPG production increased in March to approximately 79 thousand tonnes - a year-on-year increase of 7.44%.
Exports fell by nearly 56.89% to 11 thousand tonnes this March compared to March 2018.
Total LPG sales reached approximately 319 thousand tonnes in March -- a 3.47% decrease, including 255 thousand tonnes of autogas, 57 thousand tonnes of bottled LPG, and 7 thousand tonnes of bulk LPG.
