Turkey's LPG imports down over 19.02% in June 2019

- Total sales increase by 3.45% to around 382 thousand tonnes in June, according to Turkey's energy watchdog

Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 19.02% to 264 thousand tonnes in June compared to the same month of 2018, according to the latest data revealed by the country's energy watchdog on Friday.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that imports to Turkey came from Algeria, the U.S., Norway, Kazakhstan, Russia, Libya, Equatorial Guinea, Switzerland, France and the Bahamas.

Turkey's LPG production increased in June to approximately 93 thousand tonnes - a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.

Exports decreased by nearly 94.7% to 67 thousand tonnes this June compared to June 2018.

Total LPG sales reached approximately 381.5 thousand tonnes in June -- a 0.86% increase, including 314.9 thousand tonnes of autogas, 60.6 thousand tonnes of bottled LPG, and 6 thousand tonnes of bulk LPG.
