The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 4.27% to 8.55 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 8.20 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,438 liras, while the total natural gas trade volume amounted to 5.94 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 130.68 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 6.09 Turkish liras at 1108GMT on Thursday.
