The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market increased by 191.2% to around 15.20 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, according to data from Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) released on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to about 5.21 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,414.82 Turkish liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.08 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 283.1 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 42.85 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
