The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 56.28% to 8.08 million Turkish liras on Saturday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Friday.
Total trade on Friday amounted to 5.17 million liras.
On Saturday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,301 liras, while the total natural gas trade volume amounted to 6.21 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 118.36 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Saturday.
US$1 equals 7.75 Turkish liras at 1105 GMT on Sunday.
