The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 27.96% to 8.97 million Turkish liras on Monday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 7.01 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,463 liras, while the total trade volume of natural gas amounted to 6.13 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 232.13 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Monday.
US$1 equals 5.93 Turkish liras on Tuesday.
