The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0300-1600 and 2100 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,343.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 34.8 to around 1.63 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,585.47 liras and 2,564.64 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 33,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (1600-1900 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,719.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.39 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
