Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, Dec. 28

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.48 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at 1,263.63 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 22.36% to around 1.48 billion Turkish liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,630.21 Turkish liras and 2,636.00 Turkish liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400.00 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (2100, 2200, 0500-0800, 1400, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,267.25 Turkish liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
