The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,719.99 liras between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (2100 GMT on Friday and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 8.8% to around 1.6 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,800.86 liras and 2,864.97 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300, and 1400 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,719.98 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.50 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Friday.
