Norway's total sales of petroleum products retreated to 715 million liters in July 2019, a 0.3% drop compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Norway on Tuesday.
For gasoline sales, the statistics office said the volume decreased to 110 million liters - a year-on-year decline of 5 million liters.
Sales of diesel amounted to 239 million liters, a decrease of 10 million liters compared to July last year.
Data from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies provide data from which the statistics authority has produced monthly figures since 1973.
