Hydro provides most of Norway's power in March

- Norway produces 14.24 terawatt-hours of electricity in March

Hydropower produced 91.4% of Norway's electricity in March, equivalent to 10.80 terawatt-hours (TWh), according to Statistics Norway (SSB) on Wednesday.

In addition to hydropower, the country produced 6.6% of its electricity from wind power and 2% from thermal power.

The country's total electricity production was 14.24 TWh in March.

The largest share of consumption composed of the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, and power-intensive manufacturing.

The Nordic country's electricity consumption decreased by 0.4% in March, compared to the same period last year.
