The Nordex Group received an order for 38 turbines to a Texas wind farm, which will be the second of its kind installed at a U.S energy project, the German manufacturer announced Monday.
The wind turbines will be delivered in the summer of 2020 to the project that has a proposed energy generating capacity of approximately 180 megawatts (MW), according to the company's statement.
The order includes supply and delivery of the wind turbines with an operation range of 4.8 MW, including a five-year service agreement.
The group has installed more than 25 gigawatts of wind energy capacity in over 40 markets and generated revenues of around €2.5 billion in 2018.
